Voluntary Care

Phone 01784 482515

A volunteer group dedicated to helping the residents of Wraysbury and Horton in any way they can. Be that giving the housebound a lift, changing a lightbulb or unblocking a drain. We don’t guarantee to always have a volunteer able to help, but we usually can…

Voluntary Care are continually adding services for the benefit of our community, we currently also run:
1. Lunch Club, every Thursday lunchtime in the Village Halls, with 30-40 regular diners this is a very popular event.
2. Meals on Wheels – for those in need of a nutritious meal delivered to their door.
3. Wednesday Coffee Mornings in the High Street Community Centre & Church
4. …let us know what you would like to bring to our community…

Likewise should you wish to volunteer, or for more information on any of our activities, please contact us on 01784 482515.

Due to the current situation with COVID-19, we are asking for extra new volunteers in this time period particularly, who could help with a friendly phone call, collecting and delivering shopping and other ad-hoc tasks as required.
If you are over 70 and/or have underlying health conditions, it may not be advisable for you to have contact with others who are unwell and self-isolating.  Or you may be required to self-isolate yourself, depending on ongoing and updated information from Public Health England.
However, there are still many things you can do to volunteer and help support others in Wraysbury, even if they are from your own home!

Please download & fill in the information sheet below, so we can best coordinate your skills and help across the whole village.
